ABS-CBN got the exclusive rights to air Mario Maurer's visit to Manila which includes coverage of his TV guestings as well as the contract signing of his movie deal with Star Cinema.
Mario Maurer is scheduled to visit Manila this month for his Penshoppe endorsement shoot and a Fan Conference at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall on October 28th.
According to Penshoppe's Brand Director Alex Mendoza, the 22-year-old Thai heartthrob "will not only make Penshoppe a bigger fashion name across the borders. He will also help grow the market in the local and Southeast Asian region, especially knowing that he has a gained wide following among the younger set." -facebook
The 22-year-old half-German, half-Chinese's FanCon will be hosted by fellow Thai presenter, former MTV VJ Utt, with special live performance by Pan-Asian girl group Blush. The event will start at 1 PM. Gates will open at 11 AM.
To get a pass to Mario Maurer's FanCon, one must complete a stamp card available at all Penshoppe stores nationwide. Every P500.00 purchase equals one stamp. There are a total of 10 stamps to be completed, after which the bearer must submit the original completed stamp card at any Penshoppe outlet in exchange of the final entry pass.
Meanwhile, his Star Cinema movie is said to be directed by Rory Quintos and will have both Thai and Pinoy cast. Mario's leading lady, though, is still not yet revealed. There will be 10 shooting days in Manila and 15 days in Bangkok. Shooting is said to start on March 2012.
