Azkals Wins vs Nepal with 4-0 (October 11, 2011)

The Philippine Azkals won the friendly match versus Nepal Himalayan Tigers which was held at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on October 11, 2011. Azkals dominated the game that ended with a score of 4-0.

The first half of the match ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the Azkals courtesy of the Younghusbands. Phil scored the first goal at the 17th minute mark, while James goaled at the 29th minute.

The UP Pep Squad performed during the half-time. They did the routine that made them win the title at the 2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition held last September 17.

Phil Younghusband scored another goal at the 55th minute.

Nepal almost scored on the second half, and it was a good thing the Azkals goalkeeper Neil Etheridge was quick. He was given a yellow card, though, for time wasting.

A fourth goal was scored by Matthew Hartmann at the 89th minute mark making the score 4-0 in favor of the Philippine Azkals.
