The Chasters were saddened when it was reported that guest stars wouldn't be a part of Glee anymore. But Ryan Murphy, co-creator and producer of the show, gave some hope about the matter on his interview with Inquirer Entertainment.
Ryan Murphy said that the storyline of Charice's character hasn't had any closure yet so she might come back towards the end of season 3.
Charice plays the character of Sunshine Corazon, an Asian exchange student who auditioned and passed for the glee club New Directions. She transferred to another school, though, to join the Vocal Adrenaline to escape Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) who was bullying her.
At the end of season 2, Sunshine and Rachel had somehow patched things up, Rachel even became Sunshine's "strength" during her performance with the Vocal Adrenaline.
Meanwhile, Harry Shum Jr.'s character Mike Chang was finally given a "speaking part" in the show (imagine having no dialogue for 2 seasons!). He also had his own song and dance number. Finally!
The show's earlier decision to stop having guest stars was to give the other characters (like Harry's) a chance to shine.
But would Charice really be coming back? Or will Ryan Murphy change his mind again?
