Shaina Magdayao renewed her contract with ABS-CBN on October 5, 2011 with actresses Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang.
A television series is in the works for Shaina. Titled Doha, the story will focus on the life of an OFW. Some scenes of the series will even be taken at Doha, Qatar to make it look as close to reality as possible.
Shaina also denied the speculations that she and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz are not together anymore. The rumor originated from a recent comment made by John Lloyd that his lovelife is currently boring.
The actress jokingly told TV Patrol that their lovelife is indeed boring because they have nothing to tell the press, which we get as they are not currently involved in any controversy.
Furthermore, Shaina told the news program that it's both their decision not to work together.
