The X Factor Philippines, ABS-CBN's newest reality show franchise, is holding auditions for Pinoys with singing capabilities. And since we all love to sing, I'm sure audition venues will be flocked by thousands of singer wannabes.
Requirements:
- Must be 13 years old and above
- Photocopy of birth certificate
Audition Dates and Venues:
November 19 and 20 – Batangas (First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities)
November 23 and 24 – Davao (Philippine Women's College of Davao)
November 26 and 27 – Cagayan de Oro (Liceo de Cagayan University)
November 30 and December 1 – Bacolod (University of St. La Salle)
December 3 & 4 – Cebu (Southwestern University)
December 10 & 11 – Baguio (University of Baguio)
Coming soon on the Kapamilya network, The X Factor Philippines will surely be another hit reality show franchise especially that singing competitions are always well-loved by televiewers.
The X Factor originated in the United Kingdom and is now franchised in various countries. The programs are produced by Simon Cowell's Syco TV. The show's Wikipedia page tells us the Philippine franchise will start airing in 2012.
Previous The X Factor Philippines teaser by ABS-CBN shows faces of Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sarah Geronimo, Yeng Constantino, Jovit Baldivino, Piolo Pascual and Sharon Cuneta. We don't know yet, though, who among them will be the presenters and who among them will be the judges.
With that stellar cast in a singing talent competition, what more could you ask for?
