GMA-7's remake of the hit 2001 primetime drama "Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin" is going to premiere on October 10 in the network's Dramarama sa Hapon.
The new series will star teen stars Joshua Dionisio, Barbie Forteza, Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching. The series will take the time slot that will be left by Sinner or Saint as it ends on October 7th.
Also in the remake are Gardo Versoza, Sheryl Cruz, Tanya Garcia, Matet de Leon, Ernie Garcia, Karla Estrada, Joko Diaz, Kier Legaspi, Maricar de Mesa, Shirley Fuentes, Victor Aliwalas, Ella Cruz and Carmen Soriano.
Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin will be directed by Roderick Lindayag from the reinterpretation by scriptwriter Kit Villanueva Langit (originally written by Dode Cruz).
The original soap starred Sunshine Dizon, Cogie Domingo, Angelika dela Cruz and Sherwin Ordoñez. It ran for over a year, from March 26, 2001 to November 1, 2002.
