Mo Twister is Leaving the Philippines

Mo Twister is leaving the Philippines for good to live in New York. This afternoon's episode of Paparazzi was his last television appearance.

The reason for his leaving the country and his TV/radio career was something that he couldn't say. He assured, though, that the reason wasn't a girl.

About that "reason," Mo told Cristy Fermin that it's something he has "been trying to overcome in the past year... something that Rhian and I have been trying to overcome together..."

Cristy, trying to get more out of Mo and who obviously had her own idea of what it was Mo was referring to, asked, "Nakokonsens'ya ba kayo?" To which Mo replied with, "Ayokong sabihin na 'kayo' because Rhian is her own person and I am my own person. Basta, I'm in a dark, dark place. I'm in a dark place."

Mo further said that it wouldn't have affected him if he wasn't in his right frame of mind but each one of us has different values instilled in us and that "something" was against his values that's why he's leaving.

He's not sure how long he would be gone, or how long it would take him to heal.

Anne Curtis is Scheduled to Do a Movie Next Year

Anne Curtis is undeniably the "It" girl of today. With the recent box-office success of No Other Woman and the support she got with the release of her very first record album, she's definitely the most in-demand celebrity of today.

Aside from being seen everyday on TV (Showtime from Monday to Saturday and ASAP Rocks on Sundays plus TVCs), her billboards are also everywhere.

Anne's album recently turned gold, and in line with that, her very first major concert is in the works. She is scheduled to perform live at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 29, 2012 in a concert titled Annebisyosa, which is also the title of her album.

But Anne's being busy doesn't stop with that, Bandila reported that the pretty Filipino-Australian is scheduled to do a movie next year (and next year is just 36 days away). Not much details have been said about the movie but could it be the rumored sequel of No Other Woman?

"I guess it pays off when you don't expect anything, cause when you don't expect, all the more you appreciate all the blessings that will come into your life," Anne says about her success.

Are you excited with Anne Curtis' hopefully another blockbuster movie?

Charice Won't Perform in Singapore to Pay Respects to Dad

Raquel Pempengco, the mother of international pop sensation Charice, paid her respects to the remains of her estranged husband and mother of her two kids. Earlier today, she arrived at the Funeraria Miraculous Medal in Biñan, Laguna with Carl, her youngest son with Ricky Pempengco who died last night in a stabbing incident.

Charice is bound to arrive at 11 PM tonight from Jakarta, Indonesia where the David Foster and Friends world tour has currently staged a concert. The concert's next stop is Singapore and the singer recently tweeted she won't be able to perform in the said country because she needs to be with family in the Philippines.

Despite the heated statement Ricky's sister said on camera against Charice's family, everything seemed to be well when Raquel and Carl arrived at the wake. Although she refused to talk on camera, Raquel told the media she understands how emotional Ricky's siblings are with the loss of their youngest brother. She also sees what happened as an opportunity to patch things up with the family of her estranged husband.

Ricky Pempengco's loved ones are requesting the public to let them grieve in private. "Bigyan muna po natin sila ng privacy para at least makapag-usap po sila," said Grace Mendoza, Charice's aunt.

Raquel brought to the wake a white suit for Ricky. It was reportedly a special request of Charice. They wanted him to wear the suit he wore during his wedding with Raquel but it couldn't be found at the moment.

Andi Eigenmann Hasn't Forgiven Albie Casiño Yet; Will Name Baby Gabrielle

Andi Eigenmann will give birth next month, but has she already forgiven the baby's father for abandoning her and the baby?

image

In an interview with Boy Abunda in last Sunday's episode of The Buzz, the October cover girl of StarStudio magazine was straightforward in answering that she has not. "The only reason is because walang nanghihingi ng tawad sa akin..." the young mom explained.

Last month, Andi named Albie Casiño as the father of her unborn through an entry in her blog.

Andi was also interviewed by Kris Aquino in today's episode of Kris TV. In the interview, the pregnant actress revealed that while she hasn't decided on the first name yet, her child's second name will be Gabrielle. It was Andi's mom's (Jaclyn Jose) choice. It was also the name of Andi's character in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, the soap she starred in when news about her pregnancy broke out. She, though, personally chose Eli to be the baby's nickname.

In the same interview, Andi revealed that she was supposed to play Maria in Maria la del Barrio. The role went to Erich Gonzales because of Andi's sudden pregnancy.

Pia Guanio and Steve Mago Didn't Marry, Just Had Their Relationship Blessed

Rumors about Pia Guanio supposedly having tied the knot with boyfriend Steve Mago spread last week. Many chose to believe it because Pia wasn't present on her GMA-7 shows on October 1st, which the rumors say was the wedding day.

image

There were even some speculations that the TV host/actress got married because she was pregnant.

Pia Guanio decided to talk about the issue to clarify the truth about it. According to her, she and boyfriend Steve Magno just had their relationship blessed and not really tied the knot.

Pia and Steve are both members of the Victory Christian Fellowship and they wanted their relationship to be blessed by God.

Pia explained, "We are trying to live an honorable Christian life — you know, not just attending regular services but to live it. We wanted our relationship to be blessed by God.”

The "blessing" ceremony was held in the garden of Steve's parents house in Alabang. It was officiated by Pastor Paolo Punzalan, who was the son of the late Helen Vela and sister of Princess Punzalan.

The ceremony was witnessed by thirty (30) people who were mostly families of the Pia and Steve. Pia's manager June Torrejon was also there.

As for the real wedding, the two are planning to do it in Europe next year.
