Joey de Leon and Toni Gonzaga Reunited in "The Buzz"

Toni Gonzaga became emotional on today's episode of The Buzz where she interviewed Joey de Leon. It was the first time the two met after Toni left Eat Bulaga! to transfer to ABS-CBN in 2005.

Toni cried even before the interview started when Joey gave her a copy of the Eat Bulaga! coffee table book, Ang Unang Tatlong Dekada. He made Toni open the book to a certain page and the pretty tv host/singer/actress couldn't help but get emotional.

The page showed a picture of Toni with the hosts of the noontime show taken in the period when Toni was still with them.

Toni was especially touched because Eat Bulaga! was the first show she co-hosted and as she said, she learned all her hosting skills from Joey de Leon who was one of the pillars of the said show.

7 New Housemates Introduced, 2nd PBB House Revealed

The new house of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited was shown tonight. As host Bianca Gonzales put it, it looks very industrial. Functional, yes, but not so much of an eye candy for me.

image

The mole Carlo Romero stayed as an official housemate and through his first task, six official housemates from the "looban" were transferred to the new modern house. The rest of the batch 1 housemates, though, thought they were already eliminated. Those who were transferred were Pamu Pamorada, Kevin Fowler, Paco Evangelista, Jaz Manabat, Kim De Guzman and Seichang Ushimi. They were randomly picked by Carlo through a numbered "tampipi" containing a piece of their clothing.

But just when you thought the looban have become a little less chaotic, the six housemates were replaced by seven new housemates who were part of the batch 2 that was introduced tonight. These seven new "looban" housemates were:

Jericho Rodrigo - Ang Hunky Cabalen ng Pampanga
Diane Aquino - Seksi Bossing ng Quezon City
Anatoly Chua - Driver Sweet Father ng Surigao
Casey Austria - Uragon na DJ ng Legaspi
Wendy Tabusalia - Ang Bida Rampadora ng Muntinlupa
Joya Genzola - Bini-Brainy ng Negros Occidental
Eting Busarang - Sekyulele ng Cebu

The rest of the Batch 2 housemates entered the new modern house as "taong grasa" (except for Naprey). They were:

Jessica Connelly - Ang Pinay Snow White ng Taguig
Lordwin Claveria – Maabili-Daddy ng Quezon
Lyn Elimanco - House Maid of Honor ng Surigao
Erika Ariante - Loving Nanayuki ng Bacolod
Unad Hernandez - Maginoong Barako ng Batangas
Steph Enage - Benta Babae ng Leyte
Mark Luz- Ang Model Loverboy ng Quezon City
Naprey Almario - Strong Wheeled Teacher ng Davao

Fans of the reality show will get to watch two PBB shows starting this Monday.

PBB Unli Day, featuring the goings on inside the modern house, comes at 4:30 PM on weekdays and will be hosted by Bianca Gonzales.

PBB Unli Night, on the other hand, will still air at 10:30 PM hosted by Toni Gonzaga. It will feature the housemates of the "looban."

Winners of the 3rd PMPC Star Awards for Music (2011) Revealed

Angeline Quinto won two awards at the 3rd Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Music held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University on October 16. She took home the New Female Recording Artist of the Year and Song of the Year awards for her song Patuloy ang Pangarap.

Sarah Geronimo won the Female Recording Artist award for her One Heart album released by Viva Records.

Jed Madela was also a big winner with two awards including Male Recording Artist and Revival Album of the Year.

Another artist who was a big winner was Gloc 9 who took home three awards. He bagged Music Video of the Year, Rap Album of the Year and Rap Artist of the Year awards. I guess he doesn't really have any strong competition in the rap categories.

Is Ryan Bang Leaving the Philippines?

Will Ryan Bang leave his television career in the Philippines to go back to Korea?

image

Ryan Bang went to the country to join Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 where he won 2nd Teen Big Placer. He was one of the lucky few from his batch that was given an opportunity by ABS-CBN  by giving him television projects.

He was most loved, though, during his 48-week stay in Showtime as a hurado (judge). His eviction was one of the most emotional moments of the show because he has grown to love his Showtime family and vice versa.

In an interview with Toni Gonzaga on The Buzz, Ryan said he doesn't feel bad with those who voted him out and that he's really thankful that he was able to stay that long on Showtime. He also thanks the mainstays of the talent show who still treats him as part of the family even after he was evicted as judge.

And on the big question of his leaving his showbiz career to go back to Korea, Ryan was a little surprised, even asking Toni who told them that.

Ryan told The Buzz that he will be leaving for Korea in December for a vacation with his Banana Split co-stars Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco. But the comedian assured televiewers of the show that he will definitely be coming back.

He even added that he loves the Philippines even when the time comes that he will not be in showbiz anymore.

Aside from Banana Split, Ryan Bang is currently promoting his recording album titled I Lilly Lilly Like It: Ryan Bang Party Party Hits!

Two New Hosts of PBB Season 4

Pinoy Big Brother Season 4 is hitting Philippine television soon. With Mariel Rodriguez gone to TV5, the Kapamilya network decided to add two young male television personalities to join Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales as hosts of the biggest reality show on Philippine TV.

Robi Domingo and Martin Concio were named as the two new hosts of Pinoy Big Brother Season 4.

Robi was first runner-up of the PBB Teen Edition Plus in 2008 where Ejay Falcon emerged as the winner. After PBB, he stayed on at the Kapamilya network to become a VJ and an actor. I'm sure his being articulate and youthful aura will be loved by televiewers.

Martin, on the other hand, is the youngest son of ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio. He currently hosts Music Uplate Live!, a late night Kapamilya musical show. He's a graduate of management engineering at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Dubbed as Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited, this new season of the biggest reality show on Philippine television premieres this October.
