Carlito Rosadino Jr. is Mr. Gay World Philippines 2012

Carlito Rosadino Jr. was declared the winner of Mr. Gay World Philippines 2012 during the pageant night held on November 18, 2011 at BED in Manila.

Carlito will soon represent the country in the Mr. Gay World 2012 pageant to be held on April 4-8 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A graduate of University of the Philippines-Diliman, Carlito is a male pageant veteran. He was 1st runner-up in Kouros Search for Gorgeous Filipino Men 2006, won the Slimmers World International Bikini Bodies 2007, and 1st runner-up in the Mr. Expo World Philippines 2008. Mr. Gay World Philippines 2012, though, was his first gay pageant.

Nelson Banzuela on Chika Minute

Nelson Banzuela's winning Fashionissimo 2011 was featured on 24 Oras' Chika Minute just a while ago.

He won an approximate total of 500,000 pesos. He would use the prize money for the education of his sister. He also wanted his mother who works in Singapore to come back to the Philippines for good.

If given a chance, he would like to go into showbusiness.

Nelson Banzuela Wins Fashionissimo 2011

Nelson Banzuela was declared the winner of Fashionissimo 2011 which was held on October 23 at the Palacio de Maynila. He bested 26 other contestants from all over the country.

Nelson was joined by JB Espiritu and Hamid Hassan in the Top 3 as 1st and second runner-up respectively.

The event was hosted by Marc Nelson, Angel Aquino and Mikael Daez with judges composed of movie and TV actress Eula Valdez, European fashion photographer Frank Hoefsmith, Star Cinema Managing Director Malou N. Santos, producer and talent manager Ricky Gallardo, film director Olivia M. Lamasan, and fashion designers Albert Andrada, Rene Salud and Audie Espino.

China Wins Manhunt International 2011

Mr. China Chen Jian Feng won the Manhunt International 2011 pageant which was held on October 10th at the Millennium Hall of Central City in Seoul, South Korea.

China bested 47 other delegates with his 6-foot height and well-build physique. This is the second Manhunt International title for China. Jeffrey Zheng Yu Guang also won the title in 2007.

The rest of the top five are Dominican Republic (1st runner-up); Belgium (2nd runner-up); Vietnam (3rd runner-up); and Slovak Republic (4th runner-up).

Philippine delegate Ron Marvin Miranda was part of the top fifteen but my personal bet, Costa Rica, didn't even make it to the fifteen semi-finalists. He was awarded, though, with the Mr. Photogenic special award.

Those who made it to the top fifteen were South Africa, Australia, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Ireland, Indonesia, Mongolia, England and Hawaii-USA.

Special awards were given to Korea (Mr. Talent), Indonesia (Best in National Costume), Vietnam (Mr. Internet Popularity), Australia (Mr. Friendship), Costa Rica (Mr. Photogenic), Bulgaria (Mr. Physique), Hong Kong (Best Runway Model), and Hawaii-USA (Mr. Personality).
